Bad Hair Day

Yesterday, Tinee wanted to get a haircut and a hair spa. So I accompanied her to a salon (no name dropping), then she told me that there were two haircut schedules, so in short I will be getting a free haircut :].

I was the first to get a haircut :]. I showed the stylist a picture of what haircut would I get and asked him if he could do it on my hair (referring to the picture below) then he said yes.

While he was cutting my hair I heard him saying "TSK" (some people intend to say "tsk" if something's not right) like thrice or twice. So the moment I heard him say "tsk" I knew that my hair was in trouble.

And he's done murdering my hair. :(

When we were both done, I told Tinee as soon as we got into her car that the hairstyle that I requested is way too different (as in way TOO DIFFERENT) in what he did.

Tinee, started to laugh and teases me Dora (Dora the explorer) -- now I'm really pissed off.

See?? There's no trace of my preferred haircut on my hair *sniff*

I will never ever get a haircut from that salon again or I can give considerations, not with that stylist who murdered my hair. :(

Enough of the rants. I'll make myself happy this weekend. I'll get another haircut. 

This time I'll make sure that the stylist will copy the hairstyle on the picture.

Café Bola

Finally we got to try Café Bola last Saturday :). 

We've been wanting to eat at this place since last year.

So what's Café Bola? -- all I know is that Chef Margarita Fores, Cibo's owner is also the owner of this resto (so I expected the food to be yummy).

As we entered the place we were welcomed by their numbered tables, orange seats and their big round lights :) . I also noticed that they also have those egg trays on their ceiling, just like Cibo's.

Since it is our first time to eat in this resto, we ordered something safe. LOL!

Swamp Cabbage Cheddar Dip (P120).

I don't know what a swamp cabbage is, but it tastes good. LOL! although I'm not that happy with their pandesal rounds. 

Sirloin Tapa + Egg (P200)

Tinee's order. Their version of tapsilog. For me their tapa was just normal. Not too sweet and not too salty.

Bolas Carambola in Parmesan Cream + Ham on Pasta (P210)

I really don't know what to order so I tried their Bolas and boy am I glad that I made the right choice :). You can order Bolas in beef, chicken, or seafood meat balls, but if you can't make up your mind on what to order just go with carambola (1 meat ball of each). 

Among the three meat balls my favorite would be their seafood meat balls. You can also order Bolas with rice and your choice of sauce. Next time I'll try their Carambola in Oriental Teriyaki on rice.

I'll go with Cibo's Iced tea on this one. Maybe because their iced tea is too limey and not lemony? I don't know but it was just fine for me. LOL!

Overall our Café Bola experience was good. Café Bola is a place where in you can eat good food but not too pricey. 

We will give it a score of: 4 out of 5 foodie points :)

Game On

Last Saturday we went to SAC (Smart Araneta Coliseum) hoping that we could get tickets so we could watch the game of ADMU vs. FEU

I've watched some of the ADMU's games before, but I can say that this one's different, FINALS na kasi (iba ang ganap pag finals. INTENSE!) so I expected that the place will be crowded.

We waited patiently for our turn to buy our tickets, and I was so HAPPY when we got them (LOL!)

Didn't take pictures of the game itself, as I've said earlier, the game was INTENSE! The crowd were cheering loud and proud for their favorite team (me too, I need to support Tinee's school).

The game ended with the scores 82-64 in favor of ADMU
