Busy Life..

Oh how I miss my SNS (Social Networking Sites) life!

I've been busy and tired at the same time, these past week that's why I updated my blog just now.

Sad to say but I will be very busy in the next coming days or even months because of work. (Yes! I already started working.)

But don't worry, I will still blog and update you guys on what's happening with my working and social life if I have the time.

Will cut it short for now, need to prep for tomorrow. YAY!

See you real soon..

Amazing Toy Sale

Something AMAZING happened last weekend..
Toy Kingdom together with Citibank
offers 0% installments for 3 or 6 months if you reached P3000
Toy Kingdom held its 5th Annual Warehouse Sale last November 4-6, 2011 at the Mega Trade Hall of SM Megamall. All of their toys were on sale up to 70% off.

Since Christmas is fast approaching, Tinee suggested that we could find gifts for her Godchildren at the event.

I was the first one to arrived at the Mega Trade Hall and soon as I entered the venue, I felt like I was a kid again. I suddenly miss how I used to drag my mom around the toy store just to buy me a toy that I want.

God! The place was crowded, from kids of all ages and their parents too.
Crowded..
Finally, Tinee arrived and got ourselves a pushcart.

I told Tinee that we can't go in the aisles that were crowded since we were bringing a cart I suggested that it's better that we separate then meet somewhere once we were done with our picks.
They don't just sell toys.. But Baby needs as well
Rechargeable toy cars
Boy's scooter
Disney Chair Blocks
Lisa Frank Stationary Set (my pick) - P400.00
Lisa Frank Dolls (my pick) - P375.00

Finally, Tinee scored a RC Helicopter for only P500.00
With all those toys that were on sale, no wonder people got cray cray of these bargain finds. :]
Our stash.. We got Cuhrrraazzzyyy too. LOL! :]
I told Tinee, that the line for the cashier counters were getting longer so she asked me to fall in line while she's still looking for other toys.
You will fall in line in this lane
before you reached the real line of the cashier counter
See how many people were there during the event.

We got tired and hungry but the sacrifice were all worth it just to make ourselves happy by making our Godchildren happy too. :]

How was your long weekend?

Gone but never Forgotten

This is an ΓΌber late post, I'm sorry but I didn't have the time since I was too busy finishing my requirements. So here it goes..

While everybody is celebrating halloween on the other side of the world, we are celebrating UNDAS. Undas is where we go to the cemeteries to visit our loved ones grave.

So expect that every Nov.1 or even as early as the last week of October all the cemeteries are jam packed.

Last October 31 and November 1, I stayed at the Rios to join them in remembering their loved ones since all our relatives who passed away were laid in our provinces. :[

Tinee told me that the schedule of visiting their relatives would be on October 31 for Tinee's Dad and on November 01 for Tinee's Mom.

Woke up around 6 A.M. on October 31 then went to the Rios since they will go to the cemetery at around 9 A.M.

Reached Holy Cross - Manila Memorial Park in Novaliches to visit the grave of the Lolo (Grandfather), Lola (Grandmother), Aunt and two Uncles of Tinee on her Dad's side
The Rios :] (w/o Papa & Mama)
Lola Bening's Grave ( she just passed away :[ )

This is how Filipinos celebrate Undas.
Sometimes, they even camp out in the cemeteries.
We offered flowers, lighted them candles & prayed for them, then went to Trinoma for lunch (maybe on a separate post).

The next day, we went to Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina to visit Tinee's Lolo on her Mother's side. We were late, because when we arrived her relatives were already praying the rosary.

I took pictures of the tomb stone of Tinee's Lolo because the letters which spelled his name were already gone missing. What kind of a human being steals from a dead person?

Only the D.O.B. is left :[ screw you stealers

Flowers to offer..
Such pretty flowers.. :]
Did the same thing, offered flowers and lighted Lolo Felicing candles. Ate lunch with Tinee's reatives, then went again to Trinoma for our monthsary date :].

Whenever someone passed away, whether they are close to me or not, I always tell myself that "life is too short, to be damn boring.. so make the most out of it." LOL! :]
